DaNeilia Francis Joins Code for Life Team

Code for Life announces that DaNeilia Francis has joined the team as Director of Growth. Daneilia was a part of the very early stages of Code for Life while she worked with Founder, Chris Troy at NY CityServe. She brings her energy and skills to increase the organization’s impact in the lives of young people, as they are poised to impact over 300 students this summer.

Summer is Coming: Partners Needed

Currently, Code for Life is training 225 students every week, developing the next generation of creators & makers. Some students will be presenting their Capstone projects in late March, while others are busy learning JavaScript, REACT, and Node.js. This summer (July 8-August 14th), the organization will enroll up to 400 students at one of our Bronx & Harlem sites, where existing students will build on their knowledge and skills as they learn Python, Machine Learning, or Robotics.

Summer Instructors Needed

Code for Life is looking for motivated and gifted instructors with knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, Machine Learning (Pandas, NumPy, Arduino) who seek to equip the next generation of creators and makers. This is a great opportunity for those who want to make a difference in the lives of young people.
