Code for Life Scales Impact

Code for Life (C4L) is in it’s 5th year and growing strong. 💪

The organization is on track to equip 320 students in 2024, which is more than a 60% increase from previous years.

In years two through four, C4L equipped 100 Harlem and Bronx students each year. Some of those students are now in colleges such as Dartmouth, Columbia, and City College. The summer semester enrolled the largest number of students to date: 95 students in Web Basics, Software Development I (JavaScript), Advanced JS (React, Node.js), and Machine Learning (Python, NumPy, Pandas) classes. This Fall, C4L is delivering In-School & After-School classes to 225 students, with plans to equip 320 students in Harlem and the Bronx from January to June 2025.
